Anybody try to look inside of the mini35 to see if what prism they use? It looks to me from the picture (I never seen the real one) they use 1 roof prism and 1 penta prism to correct the image, this is just my opinion. Any idea?

I think there should be 2 mirrors, 1 you cannot see facing backward. This 2 mirror do the job of penta prism. If only 1 mirror, the picture will be upside down.

 magnet for image-flipping on the viewfinder 12 Dec 2005 14:50  # 5
Hi everybody!

Im new here, so please be patient with me, if im askin stupid questions.

In the description of how to get rid of the upside down picture in the viewfinder, it is said that this is achieved by placing a small magnet in the \"right\" place of the screen. Cool. Does somebody know where this place is on the viewfinder of a canon xm-1?
Thanks for helping me out!!

Basically it is similar for all cameras which support selfshooting mode. XM1 supports it as well. You have to place magnet right beside of LCD of your camera.

This is an aproximate place for Canon XM1

For Indie35 users we have detailed instructions how to place magnet to right place in Users Guide. The User Guide will be published in our website in the nearest future.
