I see a lot of static grain in the images made with your adapter. You\'re going to have a ton of problems with customer complaints about this. Cinemek has figured out what you obviously have not with their G35.

I\'d say give it up now, before you have a ton of angry customers. Good Luck.

It states clearly on the FAQ page that some static grain is visible in out-of-focus areas of the image. What is there to complain about?

Have You seen working model of G35? I have not. Actually, who has? I think they have created a nice marketing bubble. At least till we haven\'t seen one.

Yes, we have visible grain, but only if You use small aperture sizes. Say between 5.6-22. But anyway there is no point to use dof-adapter at small aperture size.

We worked hard on this issue and designed new GGSS (Ground Glass Sandwich System) . So You won\'t see any notable grain at big aperture sizes. We will post a demovideo featuring new GGSS this week.

In addition, there will be so called DumbBundle available very soon, which is equipped with hard tested Helios and Zenitar based photolenses.

The Nikon D Screen is 30 bucks and has \"no noticable grain\" at larger apertures. You don\'t need some \"GGSS blah blah blah\" technology to get zero grain at larger f\'s. The trick is eliminating it altogether in a static setup. The indie35 is too big to not lose a lot of light and to suggest that your \"technology\" is revolutionary when they sell a focusing screen specifically designed by Nikon that does the same thing for $30 is rediculous.

\"no noticable grain\" - that is what can be said about indie35, however, it is far from truth in case of Nikon D. Nikon D is not just good enough. It is pretty obvious that far more should be done to achieve \"no noticable grain\". If You are a DIY dude, then rather try optosigma, which is much better than Nikon D.

I used the Optosigma 1500 grit before I switched to the Nikon D. The Optosigma glass does not diffuse enough, and if you switch to a lower grit the grain becomes too apparent.

Also the Nikon D has a built-in PCX. \"Sandwich\" sounds like layers of material to me, and layers of material means light loss.

Besides, have you actually seen screenshots of the Nikon D? No noticable grain.
